This article changed my life. I’ll never look at a saguaro forest the same. My search image for the really big ones is now fixed. I’ve since nominated the two biggest, both discovered after this story ran. Likely, there are bigger ones out there; in the Mazatzals, the Superstitions, the Catalinas, the foothills of Mexico’s Sierra Madre. Where is that mythical 50-footer?
